In what can be termed as a huge step forward for same sex couples in Columbia, they can now legally adopt children without worrying.
Colombia’s highest court ruled that same-sex couples can adopt children.
“A person’s sexual orientation or gender are not in and of themselves indicative of a lack of moral, physical or mental suitability to adopt,” Maria Victoria Calle Correa, chief justice of the Constitutional Court, said on Wednesday.
