Trouble in Kashmir valley as shutdown continues

Date:

Srinagar: The trouble in the valley is still not over with normal life coming to a standstill as a complete shutdown is being observed across the Kashmir valley on Tuesday.

This is on the call of hardliner Separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani who is protesting against the Indian Army’s presence in the state.

He has appealed to the people to host black flags today in protest. All shops, business establishments, schools and colleges are closed and public transport is off from the roads.

In order to stop the looming anti India agitations and demonstrations, authorities have deployed police and para- military forces at vital places of Srinagar city and other districts of Kashmir valley.
