A suicide bomber has killed at least 22 people in a deadly suicide blast through a Muharram procession in Lashari Muhalla in Jacobabad in Pakistan.
40 others have been reportedly injured in the blast.
According to the Dawn, the army took over the town soon after the incident.
An emergency was declared in all hospitals of the town and announcements were made through mosques and Imambargahs for donation of blood.
According to sources, the suicide attack took place when the mourning procession was returning from Shershah-Jo-Per to Quetta Road in Lashari Muhalla.
In was the second deadliest bombing in upper Sindh in Pakistan.
On January 30, an explosion at a Shia mosque in Shikarpur killed 61 people and injured over 60 others.
