Minor reshuffle in J&K’s civil admin, police dept

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government ordered a minor reshuffle in civil administration and police department, transferring more than 40 officers and includes six IAS officers.

The transfers were approved at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, an official spokesman said.

Sundeep Kumar Nayak, IAS, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Relief and Rehabilitation Department.

He shall also be the Chief Executive Officer, Project Monitoring Unit of the ‘New World Bank Project’.

Dheeraj Gupta, IAS, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.

Raj Kumar Goyal, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, will hold the charge of the post of Financial Commissioner Revenue, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Shailendra Kumar, IAS has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department.

He shall hold the charge of the post of Commissioner/ Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Saleem Mohammad, IAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy.

Mohammad Javed Khan, IAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Custodian General.

Saugat Biswas, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA).
