Woman techie among 4 killed in separate road mishaps

Four persons, including a woman IT professional, were killed and as many techies were injured in two separate road accidents in the city today, police said.

Vijetha (23), a software firm employee, was killed and four other techies including three women were injured when the car they were travelling in dashed against a road-divider near Biodiveristy Park at around 3.30 AM, said Raidurgam Police Station Sub-Inspector Ch Yadender.

In the second mishap, three persons were killed on the spot near Outer Ring Road at Rajendranagar here at around 2 AM when a lorry hit them while they were standing near a stationary lorry that had developed a flat tyre, police said.

The lorry driver fled the scene after the accident, police said.
