Actress Jenny McCarthy says she would love to go nude for Playboy one last time before its March 2016 issue, which will mark the end of nude photographs of models in the men’s lifestyle magazine.
Playboy, founded in 1953, announced on Tuesday starting with the March 2016 issue, nude photographs of models will no longer appear in the magazine.
McCarthy, 42, began her career in 1993 as a nude model for Playboy. “I would totally be willing to just take it off one more time. Just
to say ‘I’ll be in the last one,’” she said.
“It breaks my heart that it’s the end of an era and in solidarity, I will be wearing my panties at half-mast,” McCarthy added.
The comedienne was all praise for the magazine and said she never found it embarrassing to go through it.
“I would always pick up the Playboys and think, ‘God these women are so beautiful and it’s so beautiful’. There was nothing that I felt was too embarrassing or gross. And nothing that I’m not proud of today,” she said.
