New Delhi: Ever imagined a food festival that spans across seven cities? Foodpanda has done it.
Foodpanda, India’s largest online food ordering platform announced its cuisine festival that will commence from this week. The customers can enjoy the festival from October 12 to November 22.
Customers can vote for their favorite restaurants serving that particular cuisine and help them win the felicitation they deserve. The very idea of the festival intends to identify, acknowledge and appreciate the most favored restaurants elected by visitors across the cuisines categories.
Foodpanda has dedicated six consecutive weeks to an array of cuisines like North Indian, South Indian, Street Food, Chinese Food, Biryani and Italian (Pizza). Foodpanda has carefully curated restaurants as per patent quality parameters and the visitors can vote for the favorites accordingly.
While the voting is applicable for seven cities, visitors from across the nation can access the festival website to get some interesting tidbits on food trivia.
Speaking about the festival, Saurabh Kochhar, CEO India and CBO Global, Foodpanda said, “Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Enhancing the delight further are the many restaurants across the country which fulfill our love for great meals we devour every day.”
“Through the Foodpanda Cuisine Festival, we wish to celebrate the rich gastronomical heritage of our country and also turn the spotlight on the custodians of this heritage i.e. the best restaurants in India. The idea is to felicitate and acknowledge the achievements of those who add happiness and magic to our lives each day with the food they make for us,” added Kochhar.
The six- week long festival will culminate with an awards ceremony felicitating the partner restaurants. The winner will be chosen on the basis of votes by the Foodpanda users across cities like Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
