Defiant Shiv Sena took the Hate Politcs a step further by congratulating the party workers who were responsible for the ‘ink’ attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni.
Party Chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday honoured his six sainiks who smeared columnist and former BJP ideologue Sudheendra Kulkarni’s face with black paint on Monday. Lauding the sainiks for the attack, party Chief said ‘well done’.
Sudheendra Kulkarni, who is the chairman of foreign policy think-tank Observer Research Foundation (ORF), was assaulted outside his home in Mumbai for organising the book launch by former Pakistani minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri. The six men were arrested and then later released on bail.
The felicitation of Sena attackers came in the backdrop of speculations that the junior partner in Maharashtra’s coalition is planning to quit the Fadnavis government. The party has already decided to contest all the 122 seats of the Kalyan-Dombivali municipal elections on its own.
