The ethics commission of world football’s governing body FIFA is meeting in Zurich to discuss the cases of its president Sepp Blatter and two of the candidates seeking to unseat him, Michel Platini and Chung Moon-Joon, according to commission member Abdoulaye Diop.
The Senegalese official, in a statement published in Dakar, said that the commission has been sitting in the Swiss city since Monday and would continue until Friday.
Blatter is currently the target of a probe by Swiss prosecutors into “criminal mismanagement” at FIFA, while Platini has been questioned over a FIFA payment he received in 2011.
