New York: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond on Wednesday.
“After the PMs the Foreign Ministers carry forward the work. EAM @SushmaSwaraj with UK Foreign Secretary @PHammondMP,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met his British counterpart David Cameron on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Summit, had extended an invitation to him to get actively involved in the ‘Make In India’ initiative.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the UK in November this year.
