UP’s IIT super brothers get security after attack

New Delhi: While there are people who get attacked for exposing criminals and all, there are people who get attacked for clearing entrance exams! Brijesh Saroj (19) and Raju (18), the lads who cracked IIT entrance exam, were attacked, following which, the Uttar Pradesh Police have provided security to them.

Brijesh and Raju , two Dalit brothers from a poor family, live in Rehua Lalganj village of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh.

They cleared the IIT-JEE entrance exam results of which were announced recently.

On Sunday night, some unidentified persons pelted stones at their home.

Following the incident, District Magistrate Amit Tripathi ordered police to provide protection to the family amid fears of more such attacks.

The attack took place shortly after the two brothers returned to their village from Lucknow, where they were felicitated by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
