Tawang

Tawang is a town situated at an elevation of approximately 3,048 metres in the northwestern part of Arunachal Pradesh of India.

Popular as the birthplace of the Dalai Lama, Tawang is a picturesque hill district.

The place offered lush green scenery and stunning panoramic landscapes.

It is also home to several revered monasteries.

How to reach: The closest railhead and airport to Tawang is at Tezpur, which is located at a distance of 160 km from Tawang, but has limited connectivity to other cities. Another convenient option to get to Tawang is from Guwahati.

Devikulam

This idyllic hill station, situated about 8 km from Munnar, with its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air is a rare experience.

The Sita Devi Lake, here, with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings is a good picnic spot. The lake is also ideal for trout fishing.

Kalimpong

Kalimpong is a hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located at an average elevation of 1,250 metres.
