Shuddhi has always been in news, especially when it was learnt that Salman is no longer a part of it. Turns out, there is more than meets the eye.
It seems Karan Johar produced ‘Shuddhi’ was not the film which Salman Khan himself left, but had been asked to do so..
Firstly, it was Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan who were supposed to star in the movie, but after the duo walked out of the project, Salman was roped in.
Soon after that, there was news flashing in that Karan has roped in their favourite students Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt for Shuddhi in place of the Dabangg Khan.
But the reason was for Salman’s walking out of the project was uncertain as there was a buzz that Salman couldn’t take up the project due to date clashes and prior commitments.
But recently, Bhaijaan talked about Shuddhi after launching the trailer of his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which also stars Kareena, on Thursday.
“I was thrown out of the film, why are you out of the film?†Salman said while questioning Kareena about her reason for not doing Shuddhi.
“I agreed because Hrithik was in the film. And eventually he didn’t do the film,†said Kareena.
The 49-year-old actor also noted that Kareena had already opted out of the film when he agreed to do the film.
The actor doesn’t seem to be too happy with him losing Shuddhi, as he was recently seen taking jibes at Karan and Varun  during the Arab Indo Bollywood Awards 2015 which held in Dubai.
At the award show, Salman Khan first teased Varun Dhawan for taking away his role in ‘Shuddhi’ and said, “Ye dekho, Shuddhi leke chale gaye.”
And then he left Karan Johar embarrassed by saying, “Ye (Karan) itne bade budget ki film bana rahe hain, iska thoda sa budget kam kar lo par inhone mujhe hi kam kar diya. Budget to kam kiya nahi, mujhe hi kam kar diya film se. How sweet of you Karan.”
To this, Karan immediately replied, “How wrong of you Salman.”
