Imagine being a cable operator — all needed out of you is to plug in a pen-drive and supply some entertainment to tired and irritable passengers in a bus stand. How difficult would that be now?
One such cable operators, 38-year-old Manzoor in Kerala took his job so seriously, that he provided free porn!
Yes, passengers bus stand in Kalpetta in Kerala’s Wayanad district had some porn to keep them, well, entertained, much to the glee of some and horror of others. This wasn’t intentional, however.
Turns out that the guy had plugged in a pen drive by mistake which resulted in the bizarre incident.
Manzoor was produced in court on Wednesday. He has been booked under section 292 of the Indian Penal Code (obscene and indecent advertisement and display), the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, and various sections of the Information Technology Act.

How it happened
People in the bus stand were left shell-shocked and deeply embarrassed when a television set installed to broadcast advertisements suddenly started showing a pornographic video.
The incident came to light on Wednesday after a Reddit user ‘dark0range’, who witnessed the event, posted about it on Reddit/india. Some even tried to put a cloth on the TV, but the sound couldn’t be stopped.
College girls, children along with their mothers and few other passengers ran away.
The video played out for a full 30 minutes at the state-run bus depot on Tuesday before it could be switched off as no one could find the power source and the operator’s room was locked.
The drama came to an end when someone found an iron rod and struck down the power cable.
The accused confessed that he had plugged in the wrong pen drive which contained pornographic material. Â
It could not be ascertained whether this was a one-off incident or affected other locations.
The spectacle has left a horrific image in the minds of all those who bared witness to it. The 30-minute ordeal was enough to have people claiming never to come back to the spot any time in the near future.
