New Delhi: He’s already an expelled MP. But he doesn’t refrain from creating more trouble for himself.
Expelled RJD MP Pappu Yadav has become a part of controversies after an air hostess leveled charges of harassment and misbehaviour against him.
The incident took place on Tuesday when Pappu Yadav was travelling on a Jet Airways plane from Patna to New Delhi. Yadav’s ire was directed at a senior airhostess who tried to enforce mandatory safety rules, and the lawmaker reportedly threatened to beat her with his ‘chappal’
Yadav, however, denied the allegations saying that it was a plant to taint his image by his rival political leaders. “This is a political conspiracy against me. The crew had a problem with other passengers, ask them,” he said.
Yadav said he has been travelling via flight since past many years and never a single complaint has been received, adding that he is unaware of what exactly happened to have created such a huge controversy.
According to reports, an airhostess asked Yadav to switch off his phone but the latter refused. Yadav was extremely rude with the cabin crew when they asked him not to throw leftover food in the aisle, the airline said, adding “He even refused to put his seat in the upright position.â€
“The captain of the flight 9W-728 before landing at Delhi requested ATC for security assistance at the gate due to a disruptive guest onboard. The guest was led by security agencies on arrival,” Jet Airways said in a statement. A CISF official also said that no complaint was received in this regard.
“Neither the airline nor its staff has filed any complaint with us about the incident,” the official said.
Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav was recently expelled from the party for indulging in anti-party activities.
