Smith out for 199 in second Test

Australia’s Steve Smith fell agonisingly short of his maiden Test double hundred when he was dismissed for 199 on the second day of the second Test against West Indies on Friday.

Smith, 26, was out lbw to Jerome Taylor having hit 21 fours and two sixes in his 361-ball innings.

Smith was ninth man out before the tourists were dismissed for 399 in the post-lunch session.

Taylor finished with 6-47.
