New carry-on luggage 'valet' service at airport may speed up boarding process

Date:

London: The airlines plan to preload carry-on bags above passengers’ seats on some flights in order to speed up annoying boarding process.

The new “Early Valet” system would offer passengers the chance to have a steward take their baggage from them at the gate and place it in the compartment above their seats, the Independent reported.

Delta Airline executives hope that it would take some of the stress out of the boarding process and reduce expensive delays before take-off.
