Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai, who is a regular face at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival as a brand ambassador for cosmetic brand L’Oreal, has a surprise in store for you all.
According to reports, the actress will be unveiling the first look of her comeback film, Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazba’ at the Cannes.
The actress will be part of a United Nations panel discussion on gender equality, which will reportedly take place on May 16.
The event is said to be a closed door event and will be followed by another event in the presence of the media on May 19.
The film’s trailer will be premiered at the event with the director. The panel includes big international names like Salma Hayek, Christine Vachon, and Adele Exarchopoulos.
Ash will be returning to Bollywood after nearly half a decade. She was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’, with Hrithik Roshan.
Meanwhile, Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor, who’s quite popular at the Cannes International Film Festival red carpet since 2011, is pulling out all stops to make a stellar appearance, as she celebrates her fifth appearance at the fest this year.
The L’Oreal Paris brand ambassador is ensuring all is perfect before she heads to the French Riviera on May 15.
While a lot of emphasis is being put on what she will wear for each of her red carpet appearances, Sonam is also ensuring that she exercises well, eats right and gets adequate rest.
She has been taking out two hours each day from her busy schedule to follow her skincare and beauty regime. She is even sweating it out at the gym, and then digging into a healthy meal, said a source.
Sonam is scheduled to represent L’Oreal Paris on May 16 and May 18 at the 68th Festival de Cannes.
Other Indian ambassador of the brand to be seen on the red carpet will be Katrina Kaif. She will be making her debut at the Cannes.
