Shahid and Saif in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next?

Date:

New Delhi: Who would have thought in their weirdest dreams that Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor will feature in a film together?

But according to a report, Kareena’s ex-flame and husband will be sharing screen space in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next.

Vishal, who had ‘Fearless Nadia’ and the remake of ‘The Departed’ next on his check list, has put the film on backburner.

Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan were going to feature in the films respectively. Hrithik is currently shooting for ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and will begin shooting for YRF’s action flick next. Also, Kangana has a series of releases this year.

Shahid recently wrapped up ‘Shandaar’ and is shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ with Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor.

It will be followed by ‘Magadheera’ remake, after which the actor will start shooting for Vishal’s film. Shahid is looking forward to wrap up his current commitments by end of the year as he also plans to get married in December.

Saif is working on Sujoy Ghosh’s Bollywood adaptation of the Japanese thriller ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. Vishal’s untitled film is all set to go on floors mid-2016 and hence the duo’s dates will fall in place.

Rumour also has it that the two-hero movie is an adaptation of another Shakespearean tragedy ‘King Lear’, however Bharadwaj has denied this.

The movie is expected to go on floors by early 2016.
