Los Angeles: Marvel has officially announced that Anthony and Joe Russo will direct the two-part next installment of Avengers franchise, The Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 and 2.’
The first installment of the movie has been slated for release in summer 2018 with Part 2 to follow in summer 2019.
In the meantime, the Russo Brothers are due to start shooting Captain America: Civil War later in April for a May 6, 2016 release date.Â
The brothers’ first tryst with Marvel was when they directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier which went on to become one of the top-grossing films from 2014.
