From BJP with love: 5 Questions to Muffler Man

Date:

New Delhi: As the date of the elections in New Delhi inches closer, the Bhartiya Janata Party has decided to alter its campaign strategy against the Aam Aadmi Party which is riding high on public opinion.

BJP has decided to launch a vision statement replacing the manifesto. Apart from the vision statement, the party has decided to ask AAP Chief Aam Aadmi Party five questions everyday on his 49-day government which came to power in Dec 2013.

BJP has asked the following five questions to Arvind Kejriwal:

1. Why did Kejriwal tie-up with the Congress despite vowing not to do so?

2. Why was a case of corruption not filed against Shiela Dikshit despite it being a part of the poll promise?

3. Why did AAP ministers use SUVs to travel after using smaller cars in election campaigns?

4. Why did Arvind Kejriwal take Z Security while vowing not to do so earlier?

5. Why did Arvind Kejriwal take a chartered flight to travel while clarifying he would never do so?

As BJP’s decision to project former IPS Officer Kiran Bedi as their chief ministerial candidate in the state seems to have misfired, a seemingly desperate BJP have tried to alter their strategy with Party President Amit Shah and Union Minister Arun Jaitley taking control of the campaign.

The real war room for BJP in Delhi is not its local HQ at Pandit Pant Marg but the party’s central office at Ashoka Road. Here, Shah, BJP’s national president and architect of impressive election victories, is brainstorming with a handpicked team and micromanaging every aspect of the election campaign.

In their first response to the questions posed by the BJP, AAP member Yogendra Yadav said, “BJP is running scared after their decision to launch Kiran Bedi as a chief ministerial candidate misfired. The only reason they have started this is because they have no idea how to tackle the Kejriwal wave. And why are they only stopping at five questions? Even if they have 50 questions, we will answer them.”
