World number one side South Africa will play two Tests in Bangladesh in July and August as part of a tour that will also feature three one-day internationals, their hosts said Tuesday.
The tour will begin with two Twenty20 internationals in Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on July 5 and 7.
The first two 50-over games will be on July 10 and 12, also at the Sher-e-Bangla.
The third and final ODI is scheduled at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong on July 15.
The same venue will host the first Test from July 21-25.
The Proteas, who have a comfortable lead at the top of the world Test rankings, will end their tour with the second Test at the Sher-e-Bangla from July 30 to August 3.
The South African tour will follow visits by Pakistan and India in April and June.
Australia are also expected to travel to Bangladesh in October for two Tests.
