King Khan at 10 million on Twitter

Date:

Aamir Khan has supremely dominated the box office arena, and our box office king Salman Khan has been giving blockbuster after the other. But it’s Shahrukh Khan who has triumphed over the other two Khans when it comes to the Twitter race.

Shahrukh Khan recently crossed 10 million followers on the social networking site and his fans are planning to celebrate it with a bang. In terms of followers, SRK is just behind Amitabh Bachchan who has a huge 11.5 million fan followers all over the globe. While Salman has around 9.17 million followers, Aamir has 9.57 million followers on Twitter.

Aamir Khan had joined Twitter in November 2009. Shahrukh Khan had joined the bandwagon in January 2010, two months after the PK actor. Salman followed suit jumping onto the Twitter platform in April 2010.

A year ago, Shahrukh Khan was asked how he felt about a report that 3.2 billion people knew him, while only 2.7 billion across the world knew Tom Cruise. Replying with his trademark humility, Khan pointed out that Cruise still made more money thanks to Hollywood’s marketing and pricing power. “So there, we do fall short,” he had said.
