Mumbai:  A massive fire broke out at a high-rise in the Andheri suburb of Mumbai on Friday. The building houses many offices.
The fire reportedly broke out around 11 am on the 21st floor of the 22-storey Lotus Business Park building and later spread to the 20th floor. Fire officials struggled for over an hour to bring it under control.
While the top two floors of the building were gutted in the fire, no injuries or casualties were reported. “The fire caused panic among the people working at the building. This made the evacuation process a little difficult. But everyone was evacuated in time,” a municipal official said.
