Hamirpur:Â In a shocking incident, four policemen including a Sub-Inspector allegedly raped a woman inside the police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur.
An FIR has been registered in the case. While the SI has been arrested, the others continue to remain at large. The incident comes on a day when a 45-year-old woman was allegedly raped and hanged from a tree in a Bahraich village. It also comes on the close heels of the Badaun gangrape which made national and international headlines.
Already, the Akhilesh Yadav government is under fire for the spate of rape incidents in the state.
