Estebanez leaves Racing for newly-promoted Lyon

Dual-code France international Fabrice Estebanez has left Racing-Metro for newly-promoted Lyon, the second division champions said Tuesday.

The versatile back, 32, has signed a three-year deal.

Estebanez, who can play at fly-half, centre and full-back, won 25 France caps while playing rugby league from 2001-2006.

He then switched to union with Brive in 2007 before moving to Racing in 2011.

He has won eight caps for France in union, including three during the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.
