The 12th Auto Expo in India started with a bang . A dazzling platform for the auto honchos to showcase their innovations and intellectual dexterity, the expo also offers avenues for the wheel lovers to experience the future of automobile industry.  India’s flagship automobile show, the Auto Expo witnessed some innovative concept cars by manufacturers both domestic and international, amazing designs of facelifts, new models and everything in between.

Like always many have thronged the venue to check out the leggy beauties hired by the car companies to add to the glamour quotient of the expo.

BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo

BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, produced at the Chennai plant, will be available at BMW dealerships across the country from March this year.

Priced at Rs 42,75,000 (ex-showroom), it will be available in Alpine White as non-metallic paintwork and in the following four metallic paintworks: Black Sapphire, Glacier Silver, Imperial Blue Brilliant and Sparkling Brown.

Fiat Linea

Fiat Linea is one of the vehicles that is revealed in the expo. The restyled front grille, new fog lamp clusters and visible amounts of chrome complete the picture of Linea. The facelift comes with two engine options, so the customers can choose between 1.2 litre T-Jet petrol and a 1.3 litre Advanced multi-jet. The vehicle comes with a manual transmission system.

 

Isuzu MU7

Isuzu which is known for its SUVs and heavy vehicles, came up with its luxurious MU7. Made as a luxurious seven seat SUV, the MU7 is going to compete with the likes of the segment top seller, Toyota Fortuner. Priced at 23.75 lakhs (ex-showroom Hyderabad), this vehicle is for the classes.

Ford Fiesta

Ford Fiesta; the American auto game changer revived its Fiesta, which is based on the European Fiesta. The vehicle comes with impressive front fascia with sleek headlamps and a grill that blends in the design despite its chrome elements.

Maruti Suzuki SX4 Cross

The other beautiful revelation is the home built Maruti Suzuki SX4 Cross. This amazing car features design aesthetics that are definitely going to be changing the face of Maruti Suzuki in the crossover as well as the SUV and compact SUV segments. Be it the front grille that is slightly bent at the middle, or the fog lamps that are placed in sync with the headlamps like a zoomed out version of the former, you cannot miss elegance oozing out from every part of it.

Hyundai Santa Fe

This vehicle comes in three variants, a two-wheel drive Manual Transmission variant priced at 26.3 lakh, a two-wheel drive Automatic Transmission variant priced at 27,33 lakh and a four wheel drive Automatic Transmission variant priced at 29.25 lakh. This luxurious offering from Hyundai is expected to compete with Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva, Nissan X-Trail, and the like in the Indian market.

Jaguar XJ

This car comes with a 3.0 litre diesel engine, it is announced that it’ll also come in a variant with a new 2.0 litre petrol engine.

Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG

Mercedes Benz didn’t disappoint its loyal fans and came up with the stunning CLA 45 AMG sedan. This vehicle comes at a one crore price tag.

 

While all these are the vehicles that are expected to hit the market any time soon, there are a lot more concept cars that have been revealed at the Auto Expo.

Cars like Audi Sport Quattro Concept, Honda Vision XS-1 Concept, Honda NSX, Maruti Ciaz, Renault KWID and Tata Jump are some of them. Tata Jump, among these, is a sub-four meter SUV and is expected to hit the roads soon.
