Actor Chrisann Pereira Released From Sharjah Jail After Being Arrested In Alleged Drug Case

New Delhi: Bollywood Actor Chrisann Pereira, who was seen in Alia Bhatt-starrer Sadak 2 in 2020, has been released from a Sharjah jail. The actor has been in the news with a connection to a drug-smuggling case.

She was arrested earlier this month in Sharjah after drugs were found hidden in a trophy she was carrying. Her family had alleged that the actor had been framed.

The actor video called her family in India after her release from prison.

Chrisann’s brother shared a video of their call on social media. The video shows their mother jumping in joy while the 27-year-old is in tears. Watch here:
