11-Year-Old Kid Impresses Skipper Rohit Sharma During Net Session

Perth: Every kid who has picked up a bat or bowl to practice and make it to the top of the sport has a dream of being spotted by his favourite cricketer.

Well, the dream did come true for an 11-year-old kid Drushil Chauhan who was bowling ahead of the official Team India’s practice session on the ground.

Skipper Rohit Sharma spotted the young talent and was impressed by his smooth and consistent bowling action. He was invited by Rohit to the net session where he bowled to the captain.

He also went ahead to spend some time with other players in the dressing room. BCCI released exclusive coverage with a team analyst talking about how the boy was spotted by the captain.

Talking about the moment, the team analyst added that the boy was “constantly beating the bat and Rohit immediately went out of the dressing room and called the kid and asked him to bowl a few balls.”

While interacting with Drushil, Sharma said “You stay in Perth, How are you going to play for India?” The boy immediately said, “I am going to go to India when I’ll be good enough”.
