Date:

New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Thursday said that chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is involved in “diversionary tactics” and is planting “false accusations” against him.

Delhi LG took to Twitter and added, “I called for good governance, zero tolerance to corruption, and better services for the people of Delhi.”

He further alleged that CM Arvind Kejriwal “in desperation has resorted to diversionary tactics and false accusations.” He further pointed out that it won’t surprise him if more “baseless personal attacks” are made against him and his family in the coming days.

In another tweet, he pointed out that he mentioned the “Grave anomalies in Excise Policy later withdrawn by the Cabinet headed by CM Arvind Kejriwal Ji himself.”

He also pointed out that “As a public representative, Hon’ble CM needs to explain to the people ‘his art’ of converting Rs 17 lakhs, ascertained by CBI as demonetized currency exchanged by 2 employees of Khadi Bhawan Delhi, into Rs 1400 Cr as claimed by AAP.”

According to reports, the AAP government has accused LG of pressurizing two of his subordinates to get demonetized currency notes worth ₹1,400 crores exchanged during his term as the Khadi and Village Industries Commission chairman.
