Body retrieved from 70-feet deep well after two days

Coimbatore, Aug 17 (PTI) The body of a 17-year-old boywho fell into a 70-feet deep well here and drowned, whilereportedly taking a ‘selfie’ on his mobile phone, was todayrecovered after two days, police said. The boy fell into the well on the forenoon of Mondaywhile he was taking a selfie standing on its edge, policesaid. Despite search by Fire and Rescue services departmentpersonnel, the body was untraceable till last night andassistance of a team of scuba divers from Tuticorin was soughtto bring up the body. The seven member-team got down into the well, armedwith oxygen cylinders and also eye-vision camera, around 7 AMand brought up the body around 7.30 AM.
