Major reshuffle of bureaucracy in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy, Odisha government changed portfolio of nine senior district collectors among others, official sources said.

N Thirumala Nayak has been appointed as the Collector of Keonjhar district while senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer Debaraj Senapati is new collector Kendrapara district, the sources said.

Senior OAS officer Satya Kumar Mallick was shifted from Jagatsinghpur and posted as Collector of Jajpur district while the 2010 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Sadique Alam is new Collector of tribal dominated Nuapada district, they said.

The 2010 batch IAS D Brunda has been posted as the new collector Kalahandi district while 2009 batch IAS Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya is the new Collector of Jagatsinghpur district.

2008 batch IAS Yamini Sarangi has been posted as the new collector of Kandhamal district, sources said.

Anil Kumar Samal, Collector of Jajpur district, has been posted as the new Director of information and public relations department. Jay Kumar V is new collector of Koraput district. 2010 batch IAS officer Rasmita Panda is the new collector of Nabarangpur district.
