Keep your feet warm with device controlled by smartphone

Date:

Washington: A new device has been launched which enables users to control their feet’s temperature via their smartphones.

The device, called Digitsole, fits inside one’s shoes just like any other shoe-sole. Digitsole connects via Bluetooth, and lets users adjust the temperature from a smartphone app.

The ingenious device comes with a battery life of eight hours, and can heat up to maximum 40 degrees. The device not just adjusts the temperature, but also tracks one’s daily activity levels and then sends it to the connected smartphone.

However, the gadget is currently trying to raise funds on the Kickstater website and has already received over $31,000 of its $40,000 target.

Karim Oumnia, Digitsole Engineer, said it is fantastic to finally bring Digitsole to Kickstarter. Being able to offer a product that combines multiple health benefits and cutting-edge technology is a great prospect.
