Campa Cola residents vow to not hand over their keys

Date:

Mumbai: Even as the sword of eviction looms over their head, Mumbai’s Campa Cola society residents say that they won’t hand over the keys of their home at any cost. The deadline for the residents to hand over the keys of their illegal flats ends at 5 pm on Thursday but the residents are adamant at their stance. Brihan Mumbai Corporation had earlier given a May 2 deadline to the residents by which the residents failed to evict their homes. But now, the municipality has again asked the residents to evict their houses by Thursday evening.
