Multipronged policy required to deal with terror

Another terror attack in J&K killed our brave heart paramilitary personnel. The attack comes at a time when the new government has just taken over and we have a new Home Minister Amit Shah.
In Shah, many expect a more tough approach to deal with terrorism. Today’s attack clearly illustrates that handlers across the border in Pakistan haven’t learnt their lesson.
If we want to root out terror, we will have to work on multiple fronts. Like an iron-handed approach to deal with terror groups active in J&K and across the border in Pakistan. And also ensuring that their financial nerve centres dry out and Pakistan is completely isolated in the global arena.
