Supreme Court needs some corrective mechanism

    Judiciary in India is one of the key pillars of democracy, but as the four senior judges of the Supreme Court brought to the light not all is well in the apex court.

    The country looks upto the apex court to be the preserver of democracy and the Chief Justice and the other judges must reassure the country that the issues raised by the judges is not about a systematic failure or by design.  The fact that these are raised by the lordships make them even more serious, it is time to stem the rot and create institutional and transparent mechanism so that there is little scope of arbitrary decisions so that the Supreme Court can over come its supreme crisis.

    The Nation and as a fellow preserver of democracy we in the Media look upto the Supreme Court and the apex court must not let this incident shake our faith.
