Tinder, Grindr angry over AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s false billboard

Date:

Tinder and Grindr have hit back at AIDS.org for warning people that they can get STDs by using the apps.

Tinder wrote a letter which said that it could not tolerate AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s (AHF) exploitation of these false and unsupported statements, and demanded that the billboards be removed immediately.

In addition, Grindr cut off AHF paid advertising for free STD testing from its app.
Earlier, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) had posted a billboard in West Hollywood, which said that people could get chlamydia by hooking up on Tinder and gonorrhea on Grindr.
