Two weeks after, world no 1 Naomi Osaka secured the Australian Open title, she announced her split with her coach Sascha Bajin.
Sascha Bajin, who recently won WTA coach of the year, has helped Osaka to two straight major titles.
The Japanese tennis player took to her Twitter handle to make the announcement, stating “Hey everyone, I will no longer be working together with Sascha. I thank him for his work and wish him all the best in the future.”
