56-year old Sayoc is a former stripper and professional wrestler who was earlier charged with threatening to bomb an electric company for trying to shut off his lights. He was taken into custody by federal agents outside an auto parts store in Plantation, Florida, near Miami.
FBI Director Christopher Wray at a presser told that fingerprint and DNA evidence helped them identify the suspect.
“There may be other packages in transit now and other packages on the way,” Wray was quoted by Reuters.
The bombs were sent through the US Postal Service system and intercepted before reaching their intended targets without exploding.
