The much-anticipated Bollywood love saga Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has finally hit the theatres and the Internet is abuzz with reactions from fans and critics alike.
Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars the dynamic duo — Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt — who have once again captured hearts with their captivating on-screen chemistry.
The Bajirao Mastani actor plays the role of a Punjabi lad Rocky Randhawa, who falls in love with Rani Chatterjee, played by Alia Bhatt. While Rocky is a fun-loving boy, Rani is a successful TV journalist. How two people from different backgrounds fall in love and make their family agree to their marriage, makes the rest of the plot.
The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
Reviews have started pouring in after the release of the movie. Giving the film a four-star rating, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh said: Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani could be a turning point for Ranveer Singh.
