Arnab Goswami had raised capital for expansion through a small equity raise in February 2019 after the initial capital raise and since then holds over 82% of ARG Outlier Media Pvt Ltd.
Also, his company of which he is the individual promoter owns 99% equity in the digital organisation that controls the digital assets of the network under the URL www.republicworld.com.
The present equity held by Goswami makes him one of the largest individual shareholders in the Indian news media landscape and he is also the first journalist to achieve this mark. Goswami’s all three legal and corporate entities have been registered in India.
The Editor-in-Chief of the Media Network is the only promoter and Chairman of the Board of the Republic Media Network (RMN).
