Reports about ‘Padmavati’ cast false: Bhansali’s rep

Mumbai, Aug 30 (PTI) Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’sspokesperson has quashed reports surrounding the remunerationof "Padmavati" lead stars, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. There have been reports that Deepika is getting Rs 11crore, much higher than her co-star and rumoured boyfriend,for the upcoming period drama. "The reports surrounding the starcast remuneration for"Padmavati" are completely false. The rumors are baselessand the figures are being blown out of proportion," aspokesperson of Bhansali said in a statement. "Padmavati" will bring Deepika and Ranveer together againfor the third time after "Ram Leela" and "Bajirao Mastani". Actor Shahid Kapoor will reportedly be seen in aprominent role in the film.
