New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday forecasted widespread and instances of heavy rainfall over central India in the upcoming days.
According to IMD, Isolated and heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kutch, Saurashtra, and Vidarbha in the next 24 hours.
The report further added that a depression over Odisha and Chhattisgarh has moved west-northwestwards and is likely to weaken into a low pressure area in the next 24 hours.
Instances of very heavy rainfall is expected over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand on 10th, 13th and 14th August.
Widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, West Rajasthan on 14th August.
