Govt issues advisory to TV news channels on Pulwama terror attack

In one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent times, at least 38 CRPF jawans were martyred and many injured in an IED blast in Goripora area of Pulwama’s Awantipora on Thursday afternoon. Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for the terror attack. A CRPF convoy from Jammu to Srinagar was targeted by a suicide bomber identified as Adil Ahmad Dar when he rammed his IED laden SUV with over 300 kgs of explosives into one of the buses in the convoy. The bus was carrying over 40 CRPF jawans.

The attack has been condemned by the Indian government, UN and several world leaders.

While people from all quarters condemned the attack, in the film world, celebrities like Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal of Uri fame, Abhishek Bachchan, Kajo, Priyanka Chopra and others shared posts on social media expressing their rage about the attacks.
