Policeman attacked by building watchman

Mathura, Sep 13 (PTI) A sub-inspector was injured afterbeing attacked by the watchman of an under-constructionbuilding at Ghantaghar crossing here when he tried to removethe building material to decongest a nearby road. The incident took place yesterday when Sub-InspectorPradeep Kumar, who had gone to clear the traffic congestion inKosi town, found the construction material lying on road,police said. "Following a heated argument between the two, Rahis, thewatchman of the building hit Pradeep on his nose with a brickresulting in the policeman suffering heavy bleeding," said SSPBabloo Kumar. "Rahis has been arrested and booked under sections 307,332, 353 and 186 of the IPC," he added. The building material has been removed from the road,police said. PTI CORR CHT DVIKA
