‘Parched’ much more than leaked scenes: Radhika Apte

(With Pix) Mumbai, Sep 16 (PTI) Actress Radhika Apte says shewasn’t disheartened when the leaked nude scenes from herupcoming film "Parched" went viral. The clips were seen as a marketing gimmick and createda controversy. "It is not disheartening. I am not bogged down aboutit (nude scenes) coming out. I am not bothered about all thesethings," Radhika, 31, told PTI. "I did know that my role would require me to do thenude scenes. I was amazed with the way the media kept ontalking about it," she added. Ask her how she dealt with the issue, and Radhikasays, "I don’t think too much about these things. The film ismuch more than this scene. It’s not a leaked scene, the filmis (released) abroad in many countries and it is available onNetflix." The film also stars Surveen Chawla, TannishthaChatterjee and Sayani Gupta. Directed by Leena Yadav, "Parched" is set in ruralGujarat and traces the bittersweet tale of four ordinarywomen. It has won acclaim at international film festivals. The film, produced by Ajay Devgn and Aseem Bajaj, isset to release in India on September 23. PTI KKP KRK JCHBAS
