Mahabaleshwar

Located amidst the lush green forests of the Western Ghats, this hill station is chilly and foggy in the winters. There is a lot for nature lovers as well, such as trekking. It is one of the best winter destinations in Maharashtra.

Ganapatipule

Murud and Janjira

The islands of Murad Janjira exhibit a perfect amalgamation of Konkani and Arabian heritage. The island has a massive fort, which was built by a fisherman so that he could protect his people from the pirates. The fort still stands there, grand as always! During winters, it a cool place.

Andhari Tiger reserve

Andhari tiger reserve is spread around an area of 625 square kilometers. It boasts of one of the highest tiger populations in India. It is a must-visit for all wildlife and nature lovers in the winter.

Alibaug

Alibaug is known for its beautiful beaches and ancient ruins of the Korlai fort. Spend the day relaxing at the beach or take a short trek to through ruins. The winters are here very cold, so make sure you pack several sweaters.

Panchgani
