In a tragic accident, two policemen were killed and 17 others injured when a speeding truck rammed into a police van in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha on Friday morning.
As per reports, the deceased jawans were identified as S Panth and Prashant Behera and the injured were rushed to a hospital.

There were 33 policemen onboard the van which was hit by a speeding truck en-route Banharpali in Jharsuguda district for deployment ahead of CM Naveen Patnaik’s visit on Friday.
Naveen Patnaik expressed grief over the tragedy and wished for the speedy recovery of the jawans ordering that they are treated free of cost. He also announced that the kin of the family is granted Rs 5 lakhs each with a government job.
