Kolkata: 7 Dead In Fire At Strand Road Eastern Railway Building

At least seven persons killed after a major fire broke out on the 13th floor of an Eastern Railway building in Kolkata’s Strand Road, Sujit Bose, MIC Fire and Emergency Services, Government of West Bengal said, news ANI reported.


West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, other ministers and police officers reached the spot and firefighters are trying to put out the blaze. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
