The sixth season of one of the most candid and most loved chat shows ‘Koffee With Karan’ is all set to air in October 2018. Rumours were earlier rife that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who had appeared in the last episode of season 5, will be the first guests in ‘Koffee With Karan’ season 6. However, Reports now suggest that the cast of the Karan Johar directorial ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998), Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol could feature in the season 6 premiere of ‘Koffee with Karan’.

Interestingly, Kajol and Karan Johar’s friendship had turned sour during the release of Karan’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’, in 2016. It began when Ajay accused Karan of bribing self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan to criticise his film ‘Shivaay’ and write positively about ‘ADHM’. Kajol chose to side with her husband by sharing the clip of KRK’s alleged confession, and said that she was “shocked”.
Karan and Kajol later decided to bury the hatchet. Kajol had in fact even attended Karan’s mother Hiroo Johar’s 75th birthday bash.
On the work front, Kajol is all set to star in Pradeep Sarkar’s directorial venture, ‘Eela’. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Pen India Limited. While Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for his next ‘Zero’ which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The Anand L Rai directorial is slated for a release on December 21, 2018. Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji recently made her comeback post motherhood with ‘Hichki’. The film was produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Sidharth P Malhotra and hit screens on March 23, 2018.
